As a Hair Stylist in Bucks County Pennsylvania I see a lot of different types of hair. I've seen short hair, medium length hair and long hair all varying from straight hair, curly hair or wavy hair. Do you know what they all have in common? That's right! All types of hair can get damaged for various reasons. Here I'm going to help you find out what you can do if you have damaged hair or want to prevent damaging your hair.
Olaplex is or should be your answer to helping your hair stay healthy. Olaplex gives you many options on keeping your hair healthy from professional use only products to take home product you use in between hair coloring services. You can talk to your stylist about using it behind the scenes, that's when we as hair stylists use Olaplex in your custom hair color/toner formula or add it into your lightener (for blonding services like highlights, balayage or double process blonde). Olaplex also offers at home products such as shampoos, conditioner, deep conditioners or leave in oils and conditioners.
My mind was blown when I first found out about Olaplex
At first I was very skeptical about Olpalex. It's a product that will help rebuild the bonds of your hair! Yea right I thought. However after using it for several years now I don't know why anyone wouldn't want to use it. Olaplex has helped keep my clients hair in pristine condition. I have blondes whose hair doesn't feel like lightener has ever touched their gorgeous blonde hair ever. I also have clients who love their hot tools (i.e blow dryers, flat irons, wands, curling irons and maybe the occasional crimping), Olaplex helps these people too. you see Olaplex helps us from the ground up. We use Olaplex in your hair color or blonding service and then our clients will use some of the Olaplex take home products such as No. 4 and No. 5 those are the names of the shampoo and conditioner. When you combine the Olaplex professional services with the Olaplex at home products you really get your best results.
How Olaplex works
Olapex gets deep into your hair and rebuilds the hairs structure that is being broken down by hair chemical services (yes, even the most gentle hair color does do some damage), hot tools (yes, even the most expensive hot tools will do some damage), salt water, chlorine or even time will eventualy start doing damage to your hair. Olaplex will help keep a nice healthy shine to your hair, help reduce frizz and keep its over all strenth nice and strong by preventing or rebuilding your hair.
Here are some direct quotes from www.olaplex.com
"Our hair contains millions of disulfide bonds.
These bonds give the hair its structure, strength and stability. When disulfide bonds are broken, it results in damage. OLAPLEX restores damaged and compromised hair by repairing from the inside out with our patented single ingredient, Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate. Once all the bonds are intact and in alignment, you have healthy, beautiful, shiny, touchable hair."
"OLAPLEX works to repair broken bonds.
Our patented OLAPLEX Bond Building technology works on a molecular level. Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate, a single molecule, dramatically improves the hair strength, protects from within, and provides immediate results for all hair types. Want to learn more?"
Final wrap
All in all I honestly I honestly wouldn't know why someone wouldn't want to use Olaplex. I don't have much hair on the top of my head but I personally use Olaplex No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 on my beard in order to keep the hair and the skin nice and happy. If you use Olaplex I'd love to hear your thoughts about it in the comments below. Be sure to ask about Olaplex after you've booked your appointment at B. Hair in Richboro
